The LE2000™ is the first self-powered miniaturized asset tracking and remote
control device so unique it has received five US patents including US 6297768.
It uses the US Military’s Global Possitioning Satellite System to
locate an asset then it communicates back using proprietary
worldwide cellular phone communications networks to report location,
sensor status and other data.
LUNAREYE system users can receive the reports and control
their assets via the Internet, two-way pager, or by phone. The
LE2000™ is a completely covert (hidden) device, installed out of
sight. LE2000™ operates on its own battery for extended periods
depending on frequency of use.
When installed on a vehicle or other powered asset, it
works on the vehicle’s battery or asset power and switches to its own battery if the external
power source fails or is disconnected
