| An Introduction to The Real Security Company (TRSC) motorcycle Tracking
motorcycle location technology (Telematics), once only found in luxury cars and
large truck fleets is now taking aim at broad automotive markets.
The TRSC motorcycle Tracking Services L. L. C. provides consumers affordable
answers to the question "Where's My Bike?" or "Where Am I?" TRSC presents
personalized motorcycle tracking using state of the art communications
technology and affordably priced to appeal to the automotive masses. TRSC not
only provides hardware, but also supporting stolen motorcycle recovery service
without the high monthly fees!
Consumer Applications
TRSC's motorcycle Location Unit enhances conventional motorcycle security and
convenience devices by extending their operational range and benefits. The
shrill of their sirens or the range of their remote transmitters no longer
limits motorcycle alarms. Telematics affords private motorcycle owners as well
as commercial fleets, the ability to affordably monitor and control their
motorcycles, their alarms and their lives from virtually anywhere. TRSC
location products can even be installed in motorcycles without alarms providing
real-time stolen motorcycle recovery virtually anywhere in North America, while
notifying the owner by phone, E-mail, fax or by 2-way pager within moments of
the actual theft event.
But TRSC is not just for motorcycle theft recovery, but also more importantly
for personal safety as well as convenience. TRSC's affordable subscription and
non-subscription plans provide clients with the ability to:
-
Monitor motorcycle's real-time speed and if the motorcycle exceeds a user
selectable preset speed limit a notification is sent to client.
-
A client's motorcycle parked while on vacation can be monitored in the event of
movement even without an alarm system by using geo-fencing.
-
Customer's motorcycle can be located by phone and on a map at any time via the
Internet.
-
Customer alerted of any feature via telephone, e-mail or display pager.
-
Arm or disarm the motorcycle's compatible security system.
-
Notify customer when motorcycle's security system has been triggered.
- Notify if customer's motorcycle is towed or tipped using TRSC's optional
TiltTrak.
-
Extended-Life Back-up battery provides up to two days of tracking if the
motorcycle's battery fails and three years of shelf life before replacement.
-
Automatic Accident Notification (ACN) in the event of a traffic collision using
optional TRSC LifeTrak collision sensor.
-
Each month every VLU is automatically tested at no charge. If after three
communication attempts the motorcycle does not respond the customer is
notified.
-
North American Coverage including population areas of United States, Mexico and
Canada
To accomplish these services TRSC relies on its continuously operating response
center to manage automated customer requests. TRSC's round-the-clock staff
provides timely roadside and emergency service at the push of a panic button,
LifeTrak or cellular phone call from the subscriber's motorcycle. Knowing a
motorcycle's location dramatically enhances life saving efforts and reduces the
time spent in an unfamiliar neighborhood or on the side of a busy highway
especially at night.
TRSC's motorcycle location products require the same level of installation
ability as a conventional alarm, sound system or remote keyless access system.
In the simplest installation format for motorcycle location, only two
connections, power and ground are needed to complete the electrical
installation. All other functions are connected just as for those of remote
security systems. To assist mobile electronics dealers in providing the most
efficient installation, TRSC has aligned with www.wiremagic.com as an
installation resource for their dealers, giving them the advantage of the
latest and most accurate motorcycle installation data for all their mobile
electronic installations.
GPS satellites are used to provide U.S. Armed Forces troops, aircraft and
smart bombs with pinpoint accuracy to surgically strike at the enemy. This
location marvel is now available for many consumer applications. TRSC's
location devices combine their high-performance 12-channel GPS receiver with
its high-speed 3 watt cellular modem operating on the Aeris.net MicroBurst© cellular network sending short message data packets through the vast North
American cellular network.
GPS and cellular communications are brought together TRSC's NOC (Network
Control Center) using TelEvoke's Internet and telephony based, service
platform. TRSC subscribers specify their own personalized PIN for instances of
motorcycle theft and other events. Customers may choose to be notified via
phone, email or text pager. TRSC customers may also elect subscription
features, such as remote door unlock, remote engine start, or Vacation Sentry
and full-time telephone/Internet motorcycle location. TRSC provides customers
with a unique user ID and PIN for security purposes. LifeTrak Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)
Accidents happen, but no one can predict where or when! LifeTrak provides
real-time response to an accident scene, thus dramatically improving survival
during that first "Golden Hour" when treatment means the most. LifeTrak's
senses front, rear, side and rollover accidents notifying TRSC response
personnel so help can be sent in seconds. Additionally, LifeTrak can transmit
precious family medical records to hospital staff.
Fleet Applications
For fleets that have resisted expensive tracking hardware and high monthly fees
their patience has been rewarded. TRSC offers small and medium fleets the
ability to track their rolling stock from any telephone or Internet connected
desktop of laptop computer 24 hours a day without excessive service and no
separate cellular bill to pay. Whether the fleet has 10 or 1,000 motorcycles,
TRSC will track and store their movements for retrieval at a later time.
Real-time tracking gives dispatchers a view of up to 30 motorcycles or assets
per screen and even more using multiple window operations. Geo-fencing or the
ability for the dispatcher to be notified should any of the fleet leave a
prescribed area allows dispatchers to monitor a number of different functions
with their attention being called to a programmed event when needed.
